Part I. How to Make Youtube Works Normally?
Many friends of mine asked me to help them to solve this problem. They said that some words came up to the screen, "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Click here and get the latest flash player,?when they want to watch youtube videos. This is quite a problem to answer to everyone, so I write this article.
There are many reasons that lead to this. And you can solve it in such ways:
1. A newest flash player needs to be installed. Adobe Flash Player.Click this link to get the Adobe flash player 9.0.
2. If you've installed the newest flash player, but still can't play the video, try to confirm that whether the flash
player component is disabled. Click the Manage Add-ons, and find the "ShockWave Flash Object" in the Manage "Add-ons" dialog, enable this add-on.
3. And also confirm whether activeX is enable. Make all the option enable.
4. If all of these don't make youtube work all the same, it must be something wrong of your old flash player.
You must uninstall the old version of flash player and install a new one. here is a way that the adobe provides. You can download a program to clean the old flash player then you can install the Adobe flash player 9.
Part II. How to Download Youtube Videos?
If you still can't watch youtube videos, then download it and view it on your local disk. Let me show you how to download.
1. Go to Youtube and find a video you probably interested in.(Though you are not able to watch the video, you can
see the comment of the video.) Get the URL like the picture shows.
2. Go to http://keepvid.com Paste the URL in the input box, then press Download, then a link will be shown at the
bottom of bottom of the input box. Click the link and save the download file with a .flv extension.
3. Go to HERE to download a FLV player. You can use it to enjoy your FLV now.
