Q: Why can't I choose Embed the video in SWF and play in timeline sometimes?

A: You can't choose this option in below two situations:

a. As to the imported source files, if you choose F4V in Profiles in the step 1 of Customize, the option Embed the video in SWF and play in timeline will be invalid and you can't choose it in the step 2.

b. As to the slides you have made, the option Embed the video in SWF and play in timeline will be invalid and you can't choose it in the step 2.

 

Q: Why the conversion is not well when i choose Embed the video in SWF and play in timeline sometimes?
A: If you choose the output format Generate SWF --> Embed the video in SWF and play in timeline, the whole size of the resulted file should be less than 80% of your computer's memory space.

 

Q: Why can't I add Head and Tail sometimes?
A: You can add head and tail only when you choose Embed the video in SWF and play in timeline in the step 2 of Customize. What's more, you can't go further to the step 3 if you don't check Generate SWF, let alone to add Head and Tail.

 

Q: Why can't I add Preloader sometimes?
A: If you choose Embed the video in SWF and play in timeline in the step 2 of Customize, you can't add Preloader in the step 3.

 

Q: Why can't play the converted files in the flash player sometimes?

A: If you choose F4V in Profiles in the step 1 of Customize, you have to use flash player 10 or above to play the converted files.

 

Q: How to edit and customize the clipped segments?

A: You are not allowed to edit and customize the segments after clip, but you can adjust them by editing and customizing the source files before clip, because the segments (not contained in a slide or merge) will inherit all the features of the source files.

When a segments is contained in a slide or merge, it will inherit the edit features of the source file, but won't inherit the customize features of the source file.


Q: How to edit and customize the Slides or Merges?

A: You can highlight one slide or merge first, then click Customize to customize it.

You are not allowed to edit the slide or merge directly. As the files contained in a slide or merge will inherit the edit features of the source files, you have to edit the source files first before putting them to a slide or merge.

 

Q: What is the special feature of Get the FLV path from a URL variable and play progressively in the step 2 of Customize?

A: If you choose the above option, you can use the resulted player template to play other flv file easily as below:

1. After the conversion is finished, please click Find Target and you will see the resulted files.
For example, if you have converted an flv file named xxx.flv, when you open the xxx.HTML file directly, it will play the converted xxx.flv file.

2. Please open the xxx.HTML with notepad, then find this line:
<param name="movie" value="xxx.swf?abc=xxx.flv,xxx.jpg">
Please change the original file name abc=xxx.flv to abc=000.flv, then save and close the notepad. (If you also have another flash file named 000.flv)

3. After that, when you open the xxx.HTML file directly again, it will play the 000.flv file, not the original xxx.flv file.
You can play all other flv files in this player template in this way.
